Couchville Lake Film Festival: WALL-E plus Long Hunter Short
Films: Friday, Sept. 27th at 7 PM
For its final Movie Night of 2013, Long Hunter State Park plans to do something a bit different.
They will start the evening by showing several Long Hunter-related short films, including four that will be making their premieres. Most
will be five minutes or less; some are serious, others comic; all were filmed at
Long Hunter State Park; and many were produced by members of the Friends of Long
Hunter. They will conclude the evening by showing the classic Pixar feature film
WALL-E, which tells the tale of a waste-collecting robot who inadvertently
embarks on a space journey that will decide the fate of mankind.
This event is
free and open to the public. Snacks and beverages courtesy of the Friends of
Long Hunter State Park; attendees may also bring food, potluck items to share,
popcorn and drinks. Participants should meet inside the Long Hunter State Park
office at 2910 Hobson Pike. For more information, contact the park office at 615-885-2422.
